Formal & Continuing Education
Dr. Beazell earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry and Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida.
In order to better serve her patients, Dr. Beazell also continues her education through advanced courses in both general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Beazell has achieved the status of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction earned by only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada. To become an AGD Fellow, Dr. Beazell had to successfully complete over 500 credit hours of continuing education (with 350 of those hours in live courses) and pass a rigorous examination.

Dr. McCarty received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech. She then obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from LECOM School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated with the Student Leadership Award.

Dr. McCarty is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Life & Hobbies
Dr. McCarty is heavily involved in organized dentistry, having served as both LECOM School of Dental Medicine President and a National Representative of the American Student Dental Association. Originally a Virginia Tech Hokie, she relocated to Florida to obtain her dental degree where she fell in love with the sunshine state! She instantly knew she had found her new home in Sarasota, Florida. When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. McCarty can be found at the beach with her family, enjoying live music with friends, playing with her dog, Rio, or traveling to a new adventure.
