Formal & Continuing Education

Dr. Beazell earned her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry and Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida.

In order to better serve her patients, Dr. Beazell also continues her education through advanced courses in both general and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Beazell has achieved the status of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction earned by only about 6 percent of general dentists in the U.S. and Canada. To become an AGD Fellow, Dr. Beazell had to successfully complete over 500 credit hours of continuing education (with 350 of those hours in live courses) and pass a rigorous examination.

“I believe that education is the fundamental key behind maintaining a healthy mouth and the best preventive measure that can be offered. It is essential that the patient’s desires and needs are listened to and that ultimately, combined with the education provided about their current oral health, a mutual understanding is reached in order to move forward with a comprehensive, minimally invasive treatment plan.  I feel my compassion, along with an emphasis on function, stability, esthetics and quality of life encompassed in manageable treatment plans has resulted in meaningful, long-lasting relationships with patients.”

Committed to ongoing education, Dr. Haught is an Invisalign Gold Plus provider, laser-usage in dentistry certified through the American Academy of Laser Dentistry, and Botox and dermal filler certified through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She has also completed full mouth rehabilitation training through Strupp and Brumm seminars and maintains her CPR and first aid certifications.

Life & Hobbies

In 2004, Dr. Haught moved from Maryland’s eastern shore to the east coast of Florida. Prior to practicing dentistry, she taught high school biology which translated well into her passion for collaborative dentistry. Dr. Haught and her fiancé recently moved to Venice, Florida, from Jupiter, Florida, and are enjoying life on the Gulf Coast. In addition to making her patients smile, Dr. Haught enjoys boating, traveling, and spending time with her chocolate lab, Charley.
